Arrow Components Corp. founder Larry DeForrest has been involved with drag racing since the 1960s. While stationed in California, on his way to a tour of duty in Vietnam. He went to Orange County International Raceway every chance he could to watch the races. After returning from Vietnam, and a few years of local racing He decided to attend some races on the west coast. While acquiring a new vehicle for the trip, he purchased a van that he converted while working out of his basement. From that basement came one of the leading van converters in the country, He worked long and hard to produce one of the best products in the industry. After many years in the van conversion business, he saw the need for a lightweight trailer to haul race cars around the country. In 1985 He started Aerolite trailers. Building high-quality truck conversions and trailers for some of the best known in the industry. The first Aerolite trailer built is still on the road today having traveled more than a million miles. In 1995 Arrow Components Corp. was born. Starting in his garage with his sons with no more than desire and a few tools, it has grown into a company with products all over the world.
